Zzoomm is committed to ensuring that all employees, including those who currently serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services – one of the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
Zzoomm has pledged its support for those wishing to join the Armed Forces Reserve.
Zzoomm recognise the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to the company and to the country. Zzoomm demonstrates its commitment by promoting itself as an armed-forces friendly organisation, for example by working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers.
Zzoomm supports the employment of leavers and veterans by recognising military skills and qualifications when interviewing for new positions and holding briefing days, specifically for those leaving the Armed Forces as a way to raise awareness of the opportunities for employment in Zzoomm.
Zzoomm provides support to service spouses and partners, and supports employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces. This includes granting an additional five days’ leave per year to Reservists specifically to enable them to attend training, and ensuring comprehensive support before, during and after mobilisation.
Zzoomm is committed to conducting its business with honesty and integrity and it expects everyone working for Zzoomm to maintain high standards. Zzoomm’s whistleblowing policy is available to employees, prospective employees and interested stakeholders and provides details on how to raise a concern.
The business has an internal mechanism for reporting, investigating and remedying any wrongdoing in the workplace. The policy also provides confidential helpline details for an independent whistleblowing charity.
Zzoomm encourages openness and will support whistleblowers who raise genuine concerns under its policy, even if they turn out to be mistaken. Whistleblowers will not suffer any detrimental treatment as a result of raising a genuine concern.
Hybrid and Flexible Working
Zzoomm has both Hybrid Working and Flexible Working policies to help support a positive work-life balance and enable individuals to work over a wider geographical area.
Hybrid working is a form of working which allows employees to split their time between their workplace(s) and working remotely from that workplace, usually from home.
The Hybrid working policy describes which employees are eligible for hybrid working and the expectations of those hybrid workers. It includes use of company equipment, data security and confidentiality, and healthy and safety procedures.
Zzoomm’s flexible working policy includes a formal process to vary working hours, days or locations.
